a>We enjoyed our annual voyage to D.C. marking the anniversary of our engagement last year. Although we didn't technically go on October 1st this year, actually close to Christmas time, we still enjoyed seeing all of our favorite places. A new adventure for us was to see the "National Christmas Tree" in front of the White House. Even though they call it the "Holiday Tree" we still call it the Christmas tree. It was very cold this trip which made it challenging to travel around to some of our favorite outdoor spots. All in all still had fun and of course enjoyed some Christmas shopping in Georgetown as always.
