Today we took a boat over to the Island of Capri. This place is paradise, and no wonder Augustus chose this place as his vacation retreat (he also ruled Rome from here for almost 10 years). The landscape is beautiful and the view from the city of Capri (at the top of the mountain) is fabulous. We also toured Augustus' private garden....on a cliff overlooking the water.
Candace and I have found our new vacation spot.....ha! They also have a great town square with all the typical high-end shops (the locals dubbed it as "Rodeo Drive")
