We arrive today in Sorrento via boat from Naples and train from Rome. These travel days are starting to take it out of us. The best way to tell an American tourist, the size of their bags. The best way to tell a Texas tourist, the SIZE of their bags. This shit is wearing me out! Candace is carrying our two carry-on bags while I toat our two wheeled hanging bags.....up the 564 steps to Sorrento. Just to give you an idea, as I am walking down a tight street with about 100 motor scooters on it, I tap one and the alarm starts going off (all the locals start looking at Candace).
Sorrento is great, atop the hill, our hotel is great and they upgraded us to a suite with a huge balcony overlooking the harbor. If you look at the photo, and in the bottom right hand corner, our hotel is the orange colored building.
